About Robbie M. Taylor

In 1988 Robbie M. Taylor enlisted in the U.S. Navy and spent most of his four-year enlistment on the U.S.S. Enterprise as an Intelligence Specialist.  It was during these years that Mr. Taylor learned what dedication, determination, and the value of hard work meant to both is professional as well as personal life.  These are the values that have continued with him to this day.

Following his enlistment in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Taylor attended the University of Virginia where he was involved in the International Honors Society for Psychology, Psi Chi.  Mr. Taylor conducted a number of scientific studies, one of which was selected for presentation at the American Psychological Association national convention; an exceptional accomplishment for an undergraduate student.  While excelling in school, Mr. Taylor worked full time at a paper mill and then for UPS.  Often working 50-hours a week, Mr. Taylor used the skills he had learned in the military to properly budget his time between full time employment and full time education, and ensured that his priorities were in order to be successful at both.

After graduating from the University of Virginia with High Honors, Mr. Taylor attended George Mason University and obtained his law degree.  While attending George Mason University, Mr. Taylor, after a competitive selection process, was hired to work in Washington D.C. at Cadeaux, Taglieri & Notarius, PC.  This was the first step in writing actual legal briefs, working with the court system, and working to obtain the best outcome for the firm’s clients.

Following law school, Mr. Taylor moved to Brookville, Pennsylvania and began practicing law.  It was determined early on that Mr. Taylor would limit his client base to those who were accused of criminal offenses.  It wasn’t long before Mr. Taylor was involved in assisting a man, who was represented by other counsel at trial, in appealing his death penalty sentence.  This included researching many issues, preparing a brief for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and eventually presenting an oral argument to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.  Since then, Mr. Taylor has had many jury trials, appeals to Superior Court, and he has represented those in Pennsylvania accused of murder, rape, and aggravated assault, to driving under the influence, and drug delivery and possession.   All of which are very serious offenses, and often carry with them lifetime consequences.

Mr. Taylor takes the time to listen to his clients and understand their side of the events; to understand their needs, as well as the concerns from the family; and to prepare every step of the way so that no stone goes upturned, and everyone is involved in making critical decisions.
